Prepare for some exciting news on the yet-to-be-released Raji: Kaliyuga and Seasons of Solitude in this week’s bulletin, as well as some fun Snippets Of The Past!
The Age Of Kali Yuga Is Here
A new mythological game is coming our way. With the release of the Raji: Kaliyuga trailer, Nodding Heads Games shares the latest updates on its new and upcoming game. We don’t know the release date yet, but enough has been teased for us to become incredibly excited! The sequel to the original Raji: An Ancient Epic continues to follow the same main character (Raji), but begins six years after the great war from the first game. Wrathful Mahabalasura has torn open the heavens, and both gods and mortals now have to face Kaliyuga (an age of darkness and chaos within Hinduism).
Similar to the first game, Raji: Kaliyuga is an action-adventure that draws deeply from Indian lore and mythology. It features an open-world map and introduces a dual protagonist element to the franchise, as you not only play as the Warrior of Faith Raji in this game, but also as her Dreamwalker brother Darsh. Each character focuses on a different combat style and system. Raji fights with her weapons and has a customisable evasion system, whilst Darsh harnesses divine powers and has a siddhi-yielding system. These systems and combat styles let players determine their own preferred fighting style thanks to the distinct movements and combat abilities that they provide. So, are you ready to join Raji and Darsh on a journey through different realms (from Indian mythology) and help them reach the Eternal Summit to restore the balance between mortals and gods?
Alone In The Cold
Reaching back a few more centuries, we suddenly find ourselves in prehistory. Seasons of Solitude is a turn-based strategy and survival game in which the player takes on the role of the Exile (and their “Echo”), who quite literally has to face the seasons on their own. Developer Ninjarithm used Estonian myths and nature as their source of inspiration for the tile design and overall world aesthetic, resulting in a beautiful hand-painted map that lures players in.

The game is structured around various trials made by the “Elder.” As the Exile, players will not only have to survive the different seasons and elements, but also cultivate land as necessary, and keep the entire flora and fauna world in balance. Overworking a piece of land will deplete it and leave you without resources, whereas the seasons will also have a direct impact on how many resources you will be able to gather. Different terrains pose different challenges, and animals can both aid you or stand in your way.
The Echo lets players read land and plan routes to keep players safe from going into fragile areas and disturbing nature’s balance. However, if the player does make a mistake, they can heal the land by nurturing and caring for it. To do this, the Exile will have to craft new tools and learn new survival skills, so players should act wisely and make sure they’re prepared for whatever might come their way!
Snippets Of The Past
The Game Awards
The Game Awards has teased fans for the upcoming broadcast on the 11th and 12th of December. Geoff Keighley, who is both the organiser and host, posted screenshots on social media of a strange statue in the desert. The statue could be a precursor to a new game announcement happening during the show.
Prince of Persia

Rumours suggest that the remake of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time will appear on January 16th, 2026. Development of the remake began in 2020, and although the game has changed hands several times, a recently leaked development video seems to confirm that the game is still in production.
AC Shadows
Despite Ubisoft still maintaining the game, Assassin’s Creed Shadows is not receiving a second DLC in the following year. They are planning to continuously release little tidbits of content, like the recently released and long-awaited Isu content, but the team hasn’t started developing any large DLC similar to Claws of Awaji (yet).
