Return to the Interactive Past

TIPC2 marked a joyful return to The Interactive Past conferences for many of the participants of the first TIPC as well as bringing in many new faces. Interests in video game pasts had really grown since TIPC1. So with a few years of experience under our belt, and with an awesome co-organizing partner, we set out to make this one as special as but also markedly different from the original entry.

TIPC2 was held at the Dutch Institute for Sound and Vision in Hilversum, from 8-10 October 2018. It was jointly organized by the VALUE Foundation and Jesse de Vos of the Institute for Sound and Vision. It featured a social event at The Culture Arcade, an interactive exhibit celebrating global heritage and games culture, co-organized by VALUE and the Prince Claus Fund.
